Reveal a more sculpted, defined silhouette with liposuction 360

The midsection is one of the most common areas where the body holds on to stubborn fat—especially around the abdomen, waist, flanks, and lower back. These areas often remain resistant to diet and exercise alone, which can make it difficult to achieve the definition and proportion you’re looking for. Liposuction 360 is a comprehensive body contouring procedure that targets multiple zones at once to create a more sculpted, contoured appearance from all angles.

Changes to the waistline after Lipo 360 often result in a more defined silhouette, enhanced proportions, and clothing that fits more comfortably across the midsection.

This procedure is fully customizable based on your anatomy and goals. Whether you’re looking to accentuate your waistline, improve symmetry, or refine your body’s overall contour, Liposuction 360 offers a tailored solution. Many patients also pair this approach with additional procedures, such as fat transfer including to the buttocks (BBL), breast, or face, for enhanced results.

Whether you’re seeking to reverse the effects of weight fluctuations or simply want to refine areas that haven’t responded to healthy habits, Liposuction 360 is designed to enhance your natural shape with targeted fat removal and lasting contour improvement.

In Florida, current medical guidelines allow for up to 4,000 cc (or 4 liters) of fat to be safely removed during a single liposuction procedure. This limit is set by the Florida Board of Medicine to reduce surgical risk and support a safe, stable recovery.

Liposuction 360 is most commonly performed under general anesthesia, which allows for maximum comfort and efficiency—especially when treating multiple areas in a single session. However, local anesthesia may be an option for select patients undergoing primary (first-time) liposuction with minimal fat removal. Some patients prefer local anesthesia to remain awake and reduce post-operative side effects, though it may limit the number of areas treated.

It’s also important to understand what liposuction can and can’t do. Liposuction removes fat, but it doesn’t tighten loose skin. In fact, if there’s significant skin laxity—particularly in the abdomen—liposuction alone can make this looseness more noticeable. For these patients, a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is often recommended to remove excess skin and repair muscle separation for a smoother, firmer result.

Your body, your goals — personalised liposuction 360

At the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery, we believe body contouring should reflect your unique anatomy, lifestyle, and goals—not a one-size-fits-all procedure. That’s why every Liposuction 360 treatment plan is thoughtfully designed to address your specific needs and enhance your shape in a way that feels intentional and well-balanced.

Our skilled plastic surgeons customize every Liposuction 360 approach to target fat around the abdomen, waist, flanks, and lower back—delivering a smoother, more defined silhouette from every angle. At the South Florida Center, all 360 procedures include liposuction of the flanks to help create or accentuate an hourglass figure. During your consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your anatomy and discuss your goals in detail to determine the most effective contouring plan.

Many patients pursue Liposuction 360 not just to refine their shape, but to improve how their body feels day-to-day—whether it’s fitting better in clothing, regaining definition after weight loss, or restoring proportional curves after life changes.

Liposuction 360 at the South Florida Center starts at $1,999 (not including anesthesia or surgeon’s fees), with final pricing based on your personalized surgical plan. We also offer flexible financing options through trusted providers to help make your procedure more accessible.

We’re here to support you through every step of the process—with experienced care, clear guidance, and results you can feel good about.

How is liposuction 360 performed? understanding treatment areas & incision points

Liposuction 360 is designed to sculpt and recontour the entire midsection—including the upper and lower abdomen, waistline, flanks (love handles), and lower back.

During the procedure, fat is removed using a thin, hollow instrument called a cannula, which is inserted through a series of small incisions—typically 3 to 5, each about 3 to 5 millimeters long. These incisions are placed strategically in natural skin folds or areas easily concealed beneath clothing. Once the cannula is inserted beneath the skin, fat is gently suctioned out, allowing your surgeon to contour each targeted area with precision and control.

At the South Florida Center, we offer two types of liposuction techniques: traditional and power-assisted liposuction (PAL).

Your surgeon will determine which method best suits your anatomy and goals, ensuring a treatment approach that delivers consistent, natural-looking results.

Here’s how each treatment zone is approached:

lipo

Upper and
Lower Abdomen

Fat from the front of the midsection is reduced to smooth bulges and define the waistline. Small incisions are usually placed just above the pubic area and sometimes near the belly button for discreet access.

lipo

Waist & Flanks
(Love Handles)

To create or enhance an hourglass silhouette, fat is removed from the sides of the waist and outer torso. Incisions for this area are typically made along the natural creases of the lower back or sides, allowing for contouring with minimal scar visibility.

lipo

Lower Back &
Sacrum Area

Addressing fat in the lower back can enhance the curve of the lower torso and improve definition above the glutes. Small access points are placed low on the back, near the tailbone or just above the gluteal crease.

Each of these incisions is strategically placed in natural folds or low-profile areas to ensure they remain as subtle as possible once healed. Most patients report that these tiny scars fade significantly over time and are easily hidden by underwear or swimwear.

During your consultation, your surgeon will explain exactly where your access points will be placed, based on your unique anatomy and goals—so you’ll know what to expect and how to prepare for the best results.

You’ll look like a more confident version of yourself.

Refine and Sculpt the Waistline

Lipo 360 doesn’t just flatten the front—it reshapes the waist from all angles. By addressing fat deposits around the abdomen, flanks, and back, this treatment sculpts a tighter, more defined waistline that looks smooth and balanced from every angle.

Accentuate an Hourglass Silhouette

Because Liposuction 360 treats the torso circumferentially, it enhances your natural curves by reducing bulk around the waist and back. The result? A more sculpted transition from your midsection to your hips—highlighting a refined, hourglass silhouette that feels uniquely yours.

Improve the Fit of Clothing

Excess fat around the waist, flanks, or back can make it challenging to find clothes that fit comfortably or flatter your figure. After Liposuction 360, many patients find that their clothes fit better—especially in the waistline, jeans, dresses, and swimwear—giving them more freedom and confidence in their style.

01 Complete our form

Fill out our virtual consult form online, so that we can get some more information about you and what you specific needs. Be sure to include any concerns and questions that you have for our staff or surgeons. There is also an option to attach photos for the surgeon to review when evaluating your case.

In most cases, you’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours of submitting a request via email from your assigned patient care consultant. This will show a breakdown of pricing, what’s included, and next steps to move forward with the surgery. You’ll also be able to contact your consultant moving forward with any questions or concerns about your surgery.

In order to move forward with your surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your body and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, back, and both profiles) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your surgery.

After your consultation, whether by submitting photos, video call, or in-person, the surgeon will create a surgical plan and approve you as a candidate for surgery. The surgeon might also suggest another procedure. Your patient care consultant will reach out to you to confirm the surgeon’s approval and answer any remaining questions you may have.

Once you are ready to move forward, you can leave a $500 deposit using a credit card, cash, or one of our trusted financing partners. This deposit goes towards the overall cost of your  surgery. Deposits are non-refundable, but remain as a center credit for a period of one year.

After you leave your deposit, you are ready to schedule your surgery. Our scheduling supervisor will reach out to you and choose dates for your pre-operative and surgical appointments that work for you. If you’re not ready to schedule right away, just let us know when to reach out and we will be happy to follow up at a later time.

Surgery and recovery process

Surgery Day

Liposuction 360 typically takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on how many areas are being treated and the volume of fat being removed. Most commonly, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia for maximum comfort—especially when multiple zones are addressed at once. However, for select cases or smaller treatment areas, local anesthesia with sedation may be an option.

After surgery, you’ll return home the same day wearing a compression garment to help manage swelling and support your new shape. Our team will provide detailed post-operative instructions to ensure a smooth, comfortable recovery at home.

1 Day Post Op

Rest is key during the first 24–48 hours. Expect soreness, swelling, and tightness around the midsection, back, and flanks. Compression garments should be worn as directed to reduce fluid buildup and support your new contours. Light walking is encouraged to promote circulation and minimize the risk of blood clots.

1 Week Post Op

A follow-up visit is scheduled to monitor your healing progress and check incision sites. Bruising and swelling are still present but gradually improving. Most patients are able to move more comfortably and return to light, non-physical work depending on how they feel.

At this stage, you’ll continue wearing your first-stage compression garment—a high-compression, medical-grade garment designed to reduce swelling, support lymphatic drainage, and help your skin adhere smoothly to your new contours.

1 Month Post Op

Swelling continues to decrease, and your waistline begins to look more refined. Many patients resume normal routines, including low-impact exercise, depending on your surgeon’s guidance. Around this time, most patients are transitioned into a second-stage compression garment, which is less restrictive but still supportive. This garment is typically worn for several more weeks to aid in shaping and long-term results.

2-12 Months Post Op

As your body continues to settle, your results become more defined. Treated areas appear smoother, and your overall shape is more sculpted. Most patients experience full recovery within 3 to 6 months, though final results become visible around the 6–12 month mark as residual swelling fully resolves. By this stage, compression garments are typically no longer required, and your body has adapted to its new contours.

Frequently asked questions

What is Liposuction 360?
Liposuction 360 is a body contouring procedure that targets multiple areas around the midsection—typically the abdomen, waist, lower back, and flanks—to create a more defined, sculpted silhouette.
Lipo 360 commonly includes the upper and lower abdomen, waist, love handles (flanks), and lower back. Some patients may also choose to add bra roll or upper back fat removal.
While traditional liposuction may focus on one or two areas, 360 liposuction treats the entire midsection for more comprehensive body contouring and a smoother, more proportional shape.
Ideal candidates are at or near their goal weight, in good overall health, and have localized fat deposits around the torso that are resistant to diet and exercise.
Surgeons typically remove between 3 to 4 liters of fat, depending on the availability of fat, the patient’s anatomy, goals, and safety guidelines. The exact amount will be determined during consultation.
No — Liposuction 360 is not intended for weight loss. It’s a body contouring treatment designed to enhance shape by removing stubborn fat in targeted areas.
Liposuction removes fat, but it doesn’t significantly tighten skin. If you have loose or sagging skin, your surgeon may recommend pairing Lipo 360 with a tummy tuck or skin-tightening treatment.
Most patients return to light daily activities within 7–10 days and resume more strenuous activities after 4–6 weeks. Swelling may take several months to fully resolve.
Tiny incisions (usually 3–5mm) are made in discreet areas and typically fade well over time. Your surgeon will strategically place them to minimize visibility.
Results are long-lasting as long as you maintain a stable weight. While fat cells are permanently removed, remaining fat cells can expand with weight gain.
Some improvement is noticeable within a few weeks, but final results can take 3–6 months as swelling gradually subsides and your new contours settle.
Pricing varies based on provider, location, and treatment complexity. At the South Florida Center, Lipo 360 procedures start at $1,999 (excluding anesthesia and surgeon fees).
Yes! Many patients combine Lipo 360 with a tummy tuck, BBL, breast surgery, or skin tightening treatments for more comprehensive results.
When performed by an experienced plastic surgeon in an accredited facility, Lipo 360 is considered a safe and effective procedure. Your health and safety are always our top priority.
Most patients wear a compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks after Liposuction 360. In the first stage (weeks 1–2), a low-compression medical garment helps control swelling and support healing. After that, patients transition to a second-stage, high-compression garment—usually worn for an additional 2 to 4+ weeks. Your surgeon will provide a personalized timeline based on your recovery and goals.
Liposuction 360 is performed using very small incisions, typically less than half an inch long. These incisions are placed in discreet, strategic locations—like the natural creases of the body or under the bikini line—to minimize visible scarring. Over time, with proper care, most scars fade significantly and become barely noticeable.
Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL) uses a vibrating cannula that breaks up fat more efficiently before it’s suctioned out. This technology allows for more precise fat removal with less trauma to the surrounding tissue, which may lead to less bruising and a smoother recovery. In contrast, Traditional Liposuction relies solely on manual motion, which can be more physically intensive for the surgeon and less precise for sculpting detailed areas. At the South Florida Center, your surgeon will help determine the right technique for your body and goals.
In Florida, the legal limit for outpatient liposuction is up to 4,000 cc (about 4 liters) of fat, per procedure. This amount varies depending on your anatomy, body mass index (BMI), and overall health. Your surgeon will determine the safest and most effective volume to remove while prioritizing smooth, balanced results and a healthy recovery.
Liposuction 360 is designed to remove excess fat—not tighten skin. If you have mild to moderate skin elasticity, your skin may retract well after the procedure. However, if you already have significant skin laxity, liposuction alone may make looseness more noticeable. In these cases, a tummy tuck or skin-tightening treatment may be recommended to complement your results. During your consultation, your surgeon will assess your skin quality and suggest the best approach.
