First, your physician will take your complete medical history to determine if you are a good candidate for treatment. Then, they’ll perform a comprehensive facial examination to determine which areas of your face may benefit from Belotero Balance. Your physician will work with you to address your concerns and create the best treatment plan for you. They will also explain the procedure in detail and give you an idea of the results you can expect to achieve.
Your technician will use a tiny needle to inject a very small amount of BELOTERO BALANCE® into the areas being treated. The pain is minimal and most patients don't require any anesthesia, however a mild analgesic cream can be used if necessary.
There is little to no downtime associated with BELOTERO BALANCE®, and many patients schedule the procedure during their lunch hour. Results typically last six months or longer, but a touch-up appointment can be scheduled for 2 weeks following the procedure for optimal results.
As soon as BELOTERO BALANCE® is injected, the affected areas will immediately plump up, causing overlying wrinkles, lines and sunken areas to disappear. There is very little downtime associated with a BELOTERO BALANCE® procedure and most patients return to their normal daily activities right after their visit.
You must stop smoking, taking aspirin, or taking diet pills at least two weeks before the procedure. During your initial consultation, your physician will give you a realistic expectation of the results you can expect to achieve and possibly suggest additional procedures to enhance your treatment. Before treatment, your physician will give you specific instructions to prepare for your BELOTERO BALANCE® appointment.
BELOTERO BALANCE® treatments generally take less than an hour to complete.
None. Some patients prefer to apply a mild analgesic cream 30 minutes before their treatment. This effectively eliminates the slight twinge that may be caused by the fine needle during treatment. However, most patients find that applying any form of anesthetic is unnecessary.
Yes. BELOTERO BALANCE® is a very simple procedure, so you can return home immediately after treatment.
