If you’re hoping to achieve a fresh, healthy appearance and smoother skin, a chemical peel can provide excellent results. A non-invasive alternative to surgery, chemical peels can be performed on your entire face, as well as the neck, chest, hands, legs and/or arms.

Starting at $129

  • Peel away the top layers of skin to reveal a smoother, clear complexion.
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Fade age spots and scars, and restore a youthful glow.
  • Rejuvenate skin and achieve a brightening effect.

The Process

Before Treatment

First, your medical esthetician will take your complete medical history to determine if you are a good candidate for treatment. Then, they’ll perform a comprehensive facial examination to determine which areas of your face may benefit from a chemical peel. Your medical esthetician will work with you to address your concerns and create the best treatment plan for you. They will also explain the procedure in detail and give you an idea of the results you can expect to achieve.

Treatment

Your technician will spread a liquid chemical solution evenly over your treatment area. The solution will gradually remove your top layers of skin. You will experience some burning during the procedure, which your technician may try to mitigate, using a small fan. The entire procedure only takes a few minutes. Then, the liquid is removed, and your technician will apply a neutralizing solution as well as skincare products to aid in healing.

Post Treatment

You will experience blistering and peeling after your treatment. It’s important to let your skin peel naturally and try to avoid picking or scratching. Depending on the intensity of your peel, it may take longer to heal. However, you should see results within about a week, including smoother skin and a brighter complexion.

A liquid chemical solution is applied to your treatment area to peel away top layers of skin. The solution will only be applied to the face for a few minutes, however you may feel some discomfort and burning during treatment. Once the peel has removed the surface layers of your skin, your technician will wipe away the solution and apply special skincare products to aid in healing.

Generally, you shouldn’t exfoliate or take any acne-related medications before getting a chemical peel. You should also avoid waxing or shaving at least a week prior to the procedure. Your technician will give you more specific instructions during your initial consultation.

The actual chemical peel only takes a few minutes to complete. However, you can expect your appointment to last about 30 minutes.

None. You may experience some stinging or discomfort during your peel, but this can be reduced using a small fan. Your technician will also apply a neutralizing liquid after your peel to relieve any burning or discomfort.

Yes. Chemical peels are very simple procedures, so you can return home immediately after treatment.
