Enhance your shape and confidence with breast lift

Every woman’s body is unique, and over time, life events like pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes, or natural aging can cause the breasts to lose their youthful shape and position. A breast lift—also known as mastopexy—can help restore a more elevated, contoured look by lifting and reshaping the breast tissue.

A breast lift is not about changing size—it’s about reviving the natural shape, position, and firmness of the breasts. For many patients, it’s the key to feeling more confident in their body, whether in swimwear, fitted clothing, or simply day-to-day.

This highly customizable procedure removes excess skin, reshapes the breast mound, and repositions the nipple-areola complex to create a more proportionate appearance. Whether your concerns are mild sagging or more significant changes in breast shape, a breast lift is tailored to your goals and anatomy for results that feel naturally yours.

Your body, your goals — personalised breast lift surgery

At the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery, we believe every patient deserves results that reflect their personal goals, body, and lifestyle. No two bodies are alike—and no breast lift procedure should be either.

Whether you’re looking to restore a more youthful breast shape, improve symmetry, or reposition the nipples to a higher, more natural point, our expert plastic surgeons will customize your breast lift to match your anatomy and aesthetic vision. Your surgical plan will focus on lifting and reshaping the breast tissue while removing excess skin to create a firmer, more elevated contour.

Many patients experience not just an improvement in their silhouette, but also renewed confidence in how their body looks and feels in clothing, swimwear, and everyday movement.

For some, a breast lift can be the final touch after pregnancy, weight loss, or aging—helping them feel more aligned with their current self.

The cost of a breast lift at the South Florida Center starts at $2,999 (not including anesthesia and surgeon fees). Final pricing will vary depending on your specific surgical plan and any complementary procedures you may choose to enhance your results.

To help make your procedure more accessible, we offer flexible financing options through trusted third-party providers with a simple application process. Our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Where will my breast lift incisions be placed?

Breast lift surgery focuses on reshaping and elevating the breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the nipple-areola complex. Incision placement is a key part of your personalized surgical plan—designed to achieve the best possible lift while keeping scars as discreet as possible.

Each incision option is selected based on your anatomy, the degree of lift needed, skin elasticity, and aesthetic goals. During your consultation, your surgeon will explain which method is best suited for you, ensuring that the approach aligns with your desired outcome while minimizing visible scarring.

Common incision patterns for a breast lift include

breast lift

Donut (Periareolar) Incision

A circular incision made around the edge of the areola. This technique is best for patients with mild sagging and minimal excess skin, as it allows for subtle lifting with minimal scarring.

breast lift

Lollipop (Vertical) Incision

This approach involves an incision around the areola and a vertical line down to the breast fold. It’s commonly used for moderate sagging, offering more dramatic reshaping and elevation while keeping scars well-concealed.

breast lift

Anchor (Inverted-T) Incision

This technique combines an incision around the areola, a vertical incision to the breast fold, and a horizontal incision along the breast crease. It is ideal for patients with significant sagging or volume loss, providing the most comprehensive lift and reshaping.

Should I get a breast lift with or without implants?

A breast lift (mastopexy) can be performed on its own or combined with implants—depending on your goals for shape, volume, and overall appearance. Understanding the difference can help you make the right decision during your consultation. Implant is often chosen for patients who want to maintain current breast size, or enhance fullness at the top of their breast in addition to lifting the breast.

While a breast lift reshapes and elevates the breasts, it doesn’t add volume or significantly change your natural cup size. However, many patients notice that their breasts look and feel smaller after surgery—even if no breast tissue is removed.

This is because lifting the breast and removing excess, stretched skin can create a firmer, more compact shape, which may cause your bra size to decrease slightly.

It’s also common for patients to find that bras fit differently after a lift—not necessarily because of a major size change, but because the breasts are more upright, better supported, and positioned higher on the chest.

If maintaining or increasing your current volume is important to you, your surgeon may recommend combining your lift with breast implants to restore fullness, especially in the upper portion of the breast (upper pole).

Breast lift without implants

A breast lift alone is designed to raise, reshape, and firm the breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the nipple-areola complex to a higher, more youthful position. This option is ideal if you’re happy with your current breast volume but want to correct sagging or drooping.
Best for

Patients with adequate natural volume who want perkier, more lifted breasts without adding size.

Result

A more youthful, elevated contour without increased fullness.

Breast lift with implants

When combined with implants, a breast lift can restore both shape and volume—perfect for those who not only want a lift but also wish to increase breast size or upper pole fullness (the roundness at the top of the breast).
Best for

Patients who have lost volume after pregnancy, weight loss, or aging, and want both a lift and added size or roundness.

Result

A lifted, fuller, and more rounded breast shape with enhanced cleavage.

Breast lift after explant (breast implant removal)

After explant surgery, where breast implants are removed, the breast tissue often lacks volume and firmness, leading to sagging or deflation. A breast lift after explant helps reshape the remaining tissue, tighten excess skin, and reposition the nipples for a more natural, lifted look post-removal.

Best for

Patients removing implants who want to restore a natural, proportionate breast shape after volume loss.

Result

A more youthful, lifted breast appearance that complements your natural body proportions.

Breast lift with internal bra (surgical mesh) support

For patients who want added structural support without adding volume, an internal mesh bra can be incorporated during the breast lift. This innovative technique uses a dissolvable mesh material to reinforce the breast tissue from within, helping to maintain lift, prevent future sagging, and enhance long-term shape—without the need for implants.

Which option is right for you?

Your surgeon will help you determine the best approach based on your breast volume, skin elasticity, and desired outcome. Whether you want to enhance size, simply lift, or restore shape after explant, your procedure will be fully tailored to your body and goals.

You’ll look like a more confident version of yourself.

Restore a more youthful breast shape

A breast lift repositions the breasts to sit higher on the chest, restoring the firmness and perkiness that may have been lost due to aging, pregnancy, or weight fluctuations. The result is a more youthful and balanced silhouette.

Enhance clothing fit and comfort

Many patients find that after a breast lift, their clothes fit better—especially bras, swimsuits, and form-fitting tops. You may no longer need as much structural support from bras, and your wardrobe can open up to new styles with confidence.

 Improve nipple position and symmetry

Sagging often causes nipples to point downward or sit below the breast crease. A breast lift re-centers the nipple-areola complex, creating a more natural and proportionate position with enhanced symmetry between both breasts.

Correct breast ptosis (sagging)

Over time, gravity and loss of skin elasticity lead to breast ptosis, or sagging. A breast lift directly addresses this by tightening the skin envelope and reshaping the breast mound for a firmer, uplifted appearance.

Refine natural proportions without changing size

For patients satisfied with their natural volume, a breast lift reshapes and repositions the existing tissue without adding implants—allowing you to maintain your natural size while enhancing shape and contour.

Boost body confidence and self-image

Beyond the physical improvements, a breast lift can help restore confidence in your body. Many patients report feeling more aligned with their self-image, more comfortable in intimate settings, and overall happier with their appearance

Consultation process

01 Complete our form

Fill out our virtual consult form online, so that we can get some more information about you and what you specific needs. Be sure to include any concerns and questions that you have for our staff or surgeons. There is also an option to attach photos for the surgeon to review when evaluating your case.

In most cases, you’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours of submitting a request via email from your assigned patient care consultant. This will show a breakdown of pricing, what’s included, and next steps to move forward with the surgery. You’ll also be able to contact your consultant moving forward with any questions or concerns about your surgery.

In order to move forward with your surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your body and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, back, and both profiles) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your surgery.

After your consultation, whether by submitting photos, video call, or in-person, the surgeon will create a surgical plan and approve you as a candidate for surgery. The surgeon might also suggest another procedure. Your patient care consultant will reach out to you to confirm the surgeon’s approval and answer any remaining questions you may have.

Once you are ready to move forward, you can leave a $500 deposit using a credit card, cash, or one of our trusted financing partners. This deposit goes towards the overall cost of your  surgery. Deposits are non-refundable, but remain as a center credit for a period of one year.

After you leave your deposit, you are ready to schedule your surgery. Our scheduling supervisor will reach out to you and choose dates for your pre-operative and surgical appointments that work for you. If you’re not ready to schedule right away, just let us know when to reach out and we will be happy to follow up at a later time.

Surgery and recovery process

30 - 1 Day Before Surgery

Ahead of your breast lift, you’ll complete a personalized consultation, pre-operative photos, bloodwork, and any necessary medical clearance. Your care team will ensure you feel fully informed and prepared for your procedure.

Surgery Day

Breast lift surgery typically takes 2 to 3 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. Patients return home the same day with a surgical bra in place to minimize swelling and support the newly shaped breasts. You’ll receive detailed post-op instructions before discharge.

1 Day Post Op

Expect to rest and limit upper body movement. Swelling, bruising, and tightness across the chest are common. You’ll continue wearing your surgical bra full-time to help with healing and maintain your new breast position.

1 Week Post Op

You’ll attend a follow-up appointment to monitor healing and incision sites. Most patients feel more mobile by this point but should still avoid any lifting, stretching, or activities that place strain on the chest.

1 Month Post Op

Swelling begins to decrease noticeably, and your breast shape will continue to refine. Many patients can return to non-strenuous daily activities and light, low-impact exercise with clearance from their surgeon. The surgical bra may still be recommended during this stage.

2-12 Months Post Op

Over the following months, your breasts will continue to settle into their final position as residual swelling resolves. Incision lines will fade gradually with proper care. Most patients feel fully healed between 3 to 6 months, with final results visible by 6 to 12 months.

The absolute best experience

Dr Brandon Elnekaveh, in my opinion is the best cosmetic surgeon I’ve come across and had the absolute best experience. Dr Brandon has not only outstanding medical credentials, but what I would consider in my opinion to be a perfectionist at what he does and also very detailed oriented to the specifics of which he is performing. I cannot say enough how incredibly happy I am with the outcome of my breast augmentation from Dr Brandon. So Ladies If you’re looking to make some changes and self pampering and you found the right doctor with Dr Brandon.

I had a breast lift (without implants) and my results are incredible. Dr. Pinnella is an artist. This is the first time in my adult life that I’ve been able to go without a bra and it’s incredibly liberating. Thank you 1000x! 100% satisfied. Even my scars are almost invisible. I’d add photos but for obvious reasons, that’s not possible lol!

Frequently asked questions

What is a breast lift?
A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that reshapes and raises the breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the breast tissue and nipples for a more youthful, elevated appearance.
You may be a good candidate if you have sagging breasts, downward-pointing nipples, or a loss of firmness due to aging, pregnancy, or weight changes. Ideal candidates are in good health and have stable weight.
A breast lift alone does not increase breast size. If you desire more volume or fullness—especially in the upper part of the breast—your surgeon may recommend combining your lift with breast implants.
Yes! Many patients choose a breast lift without implants if they’re happy with their natural breast volume and simply want to improve shape, position, and firmness.
A breast lift focuses on repositioning and reshaping the breasts to correct sagging, while breast augmentation adds volume using implants. The two procedures can also be combined for enhanced results.
Scarring depends on the incision technique used (donut, lollipop, or anchor). While scars are permanent, they typically fade significantly over time and are placed strategically to be concealed by most bras and swimsuits.
A breast lift usually takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the procedure and whether it’s combined with augmentation or other surgeries.
Most patients return to light daily activities within 1 to 2 weeks. Full recovery and final results develop over 3 to 6 months, with residual swelling continuing to resolve over the first year.
Some patients experience temporary changes in nipple sensation, which often improve over time. In rare cases, changes may be permanent depending on the extent of the lift and individual healing.
Breastfeeding may still be possible, but it can be affected depending on the surgical technique. If future breastfeeding is a priority, discuss this with your surgeon during your consultation.
Results from a breast lift are long-lasting, but natural aging, gravity, and weight fluctuations can affect the shape over time. Maintaining a stable weight and healthy lifestyle helps preserve your results.
Yes, a breast lift can improve symmetry by reshaping each breast and repositioning the nipples for a more balanced, proportionate appearance.
At the South Florida Center, breast lift surgery starts at $2,999, excluding anesthesia and surgeon fees. The final cost depends on your surgical plan and whether additional procedures are included.
Absolutely! A breast lift is often combined with breast augmentation, breast reduction, or body contouring procedures like liposuction or tummy tuck for a more comprehensive transformation.
