01 Complete our form
Fill out our virtual consult form online, so that we can get some more information about you and what you specific needs. Be sure to include any concerns and questions that you have for our staff or surgeons. There is also an option to attach photos for the surgeon to review when evaluating your case.
02 Receive a proposal
In most cases, you’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours of submitting a request via email from your assigned patient care consultant. This will show a breakdown of pricing, what’s included, and next steps to move forward with the surgery. You’ll also be able to contact your consultant moving forward with any questions or concerns about your facelift surgery.
03 Submit photos for review
In order to move forward with your facelift surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your face and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, both profiles, and head titled back) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your facelift surgery.
04 Get approved
After your consultation, whether by submitting photos, video call, or in-person, the surgeon will create a surgical plan and approve you as a candidate for facelift surgery. The surgeon might also suggest another procedure. Your patient care consultant will reach out to you to confirm the surgeon’s approval and answer any remaining questions you may have.
05 Leave deposit to hold price
Once you are ready to move forward, you can leave a $500 deposit using a credit card, cash, or one of our trusted financing partners. This deposit goes towards the overall cost of your surgery. Deposits are non-refundable, but remain as a center credit for a period of one year.
06 Schedule surgery
After you leave your deposit, you are ready to schedule your surgery. Our scheduling supervisor will reach out to you and choose dates for your pre-operative and surgical appointments that work for you. If you’re not ready to schedule right away, just let us know when to reach out and we will be happy to follow up at a later time.

30 - 1 Day Before Surgery
Consultation, photos, medical clearance, blood work, and other required pre-operative testing
Surgery Day
A facelift typically takes 3–6 hours. Patients are discharged on the same day with aftercare instructions and head wrap.
1 Day Post Op
Initial follow-up visit. Bandages are removed and your incisions are assessed. Expect swelling, tightness and bruising.
1 Week Post Op
Sutures may be removed. Most patients feel comfortable walking and resuming light, non-strenuous activities.
1 Month Post Op
Swelling and bruising should be significantly reduced. You can return to most normal routines, including work and light exercise.
2-12 Months Post Op
Your results continue to be refined. Minor swelling may persist, but scars will fade, and contours will continue to settle naturally.

Full, Traditional Facelift or Face and Neck Lift
For advanced signs of aging in the mid-face, jawline, and neck. Incisions can begin in hairline at or above the temple extend down around the front of the ear and behind the lower part of the ear then back behind the ear and into the hairline.
Mini, Mid or Limited Facelift
Mild to moderate sagging, often for patients in their 40s early 50s. Incisions start just below or at the temple and extend below and behind the ear.
Neck Lift
For loose skin at jawline, below chin, and neck. A neck lift can improve the appearance of a double chin, vertical banding, or turkey neck. Incisions begin near the earlobe and extend below and behind the ear into the hairline near the back of the neck.
Thread Lift
Absorbable barbed sutures are placed under the skin and used to pull the skin into position. Once placed, the sutures or threads stimulate the body’s natural collagen production.
What is a SMAS Facelift?
The SMAS Facelift technique or SMAS Plication is most used at the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery for the excellent results it can provide and the minimal risks it poses compared to other techniques, such as the deep plane facelift. To understand this technique, we must first define the SMAS layer, sitting just below the skin the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System or SMAS includes the connective tissue and muscles of the face.
Below the SMAS layer lies another layer of fascia protecting the facial nerve structures. Thus, by keeping the surgical plane within the SMAS layer, the risk of nerve damage is reduced. SMAS Plication allows for dramatic Face and Neck Lift results by lifting and repositioning the connective tissue and muscles of the face without damage to the underlying nerve structures.

Brow or Forehead Lift
To reduce the appearance of wrinkles of the forehead, correct brow position, appearance of eleven lines between eyebrows, improve hooding over upper eyelids. Incisions are typically made at the hairline but can also be made above the hairline closer to the top of the head or hidden in a wrinkle above the brows on the forehead.
Facial Fat Grafting
Fat loss in the face is a part of aging and contributes to the loss of facial volume, contour, and a generally youthful appearance. Using your own fat, the surgeon can strategically graft fat back into the face to address volume loss and asymmetry. These areas typically include cheeks, under eyes, temples, and lips.
Blepharoplasty or Eyelid Lift
Address loose skin on the upper and/or lower eye lids, fatty deposits or bags below the eyelid.
Canthopexy
