01 Complete our form
Fill out our virtual consult form online, so that we can get some more information about you and what you specific needs. Be sure to include any concerns and questions that you have for our staff or surgeons. There is also an option to attach photos for the surgeon to review when evaluating your case.
02 Receive a proposal
In most cases, you’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours of submitting a request via email from your assigned patient care consultant. This will show a breakdown of pricing, what’s included, and next steps to move forward with the surgery. You’ll also be able to contact your consultant moving forward with any questions or concerns about your facelift surgery.
03 Submit photos for review
In order to move forward with your facelift surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your face and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, both profiles, and head titled back) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your facelift surgery.
04 Get approved
After your consultation, whether by submitting photos, video call, or in-person, the surgeon will create a surgical plan and approve you as a candidate for facelift surgery. The surgeon might also suggest another procedure. Your patient care consultant will reach out to you to confirm the surgeon’s approval and answer any remaining questions you may have.
05 Leave deposit to hold price
Once you are ready to move forward, you can leave a $500 deposit using a credit card, cash, or one of our trusted financing partners. This deposit goes towards the overall cost of your surgery. Deposits are non-refundable, but remain as a center credit for a period of one year.
06 Schedule surgery
After you leave your deposit, you are ready to schedule your surgery. Our scheduling supervisor will reach out to you and choose dates for your pre-operative and surgical appointments that work for you. If you’re not ready to schedule right away, just let us know when to reach out and we will be happy to follow up at a later time.

Surgery and recovery process
30 - 1 Day Before Surgery
You’ll have your consultation with your surgeon to finalize your personalized plan, while our pre-operative team ensures that you’ve completed all of your bloodwork, obtained necessary medical clearance, and taken before pictures to get you ready for surgery day.
Surgery Day
A facelift takes around 3-6 hours. During your surgery using high-precision techniques, your surgeon will work on tightening the SMAS underlying tissue to achieve long-lasting results. This is an outpatient procedure, and you’ll return home after surgery wearing a compression dressing and post-operative instructions.
1 Day Post Op
Rest and limited movement are recommended. You’ll return to the office 24 hours post surgery, and your surgeon will remove the bandages around the area. Swelling and tightness are normal, and patients are able to manage any discomfort with their prescribed pain medication.
1 Week Post Op
You’ll return to our office one-week post surgery, your surgeon will monitor the incision area, remove sutures, and examine your healing progress. Patients feel more comfortable and are now cleared to return to light, non-strenuous activities.
1 Month Post Op
Swelling and bruising continue to subside, and your surgeon might clear you to return to normal routines, including work and light-exercise. Patients are now able to see their new facial contours while final results keep settling in.
2-12 Months Post Op
At this stage, most patients are fully cleared to resume all types of activities, workouts, and lifestyle in general. Minor swelling may continue to linger, but most patients can start enjoying their final results around the 6-8 month mark.

Full, Traditional Facelift or Face and Neck Lift
For advanced signs of aging in the mid-face, jawline, and neck. Incisions can begin in hairline at or above the temple extend down around the front of the ear and behind the lower part of the ear then back behind the ear and into the hairline.
Mini, Mid or Limited Facelift

What is a SMAS Facelift?
The SMAS Facelift technique or SMAS Plication is most used at the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery for the excellent results it can provide and the minimal risks it poses compared to other techniques, such as the deep plane facelift. To understand this technique, we must first define the SMAS layer, sitting just below the skin the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System or SMAS includes the connective tissue and muscles of the face.
Below the SMAS layer lies another layer of fascia protecting the facial nerve structures. Thus, by keeping the surgical plane within the SMAS layer, the risk of nerve damage is reduced. SMAS Plication allows for dramatic Face and Neck Lift results by lifting and repositioning the connective tissue and muscles of the face without damage to the underlying nerve structures.

Brow or Forehead Lift
