Dr. Cucin is a magna cum laude graduate of Cornell University, Columbia Business School, and Fordham Law School. He received his Medical Doctorate at Cornell University and went on to complete his plastic surgery training at The New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of International College of Surgeons, where he has served as a Vice-Regent. During his career, Dr. Cucin was also Director of the American Institute of Plastic Surgery. He currently hold admitting privileges at Plantation General Hospital.

While practicing plastic surgery, Dr. Cucin saw an opportunity to create new medical devices that would aid and improve upon the results of liposuction. His biomedical research lead to the invention of new power assisted liposuction devices and 21 patents on tissue aspiration methods. In addition to his contribution in the medical device industry, Dr. Cucin has authored three books and dozens of other contributions to medical literature. His artistic interests also spurred on his work to create and publish a musical ballet score.

While Dr. Cucin has called New York home for many years, he holds Medical Licenses in five different states.
