This is an outpatient procedure where you’ll be able to go back home the same day, wearing a compression garment to minimize swelling and bruising and support healing.

Your surgeon will recommend prioritizing rest and limiting activities for the next 24-48 hours. Swelling, bruising, and tightness around the area are expected. Most patients feel comfortable returning to light activities after the first 48 hours. You must continue wearing your compression garments to achieve and ensure optimal results.

You will return to our office one week post-op, where your surgeon will monitor your incisions and the progress of your recovery. Most patients get cleared to return to work or social activities.
