Reveal a more sculpted, defined silhouette with liposculpture in Fort Lauderdale

Liposculpture is a body contouring procedure that goes beyond regular liposuction, or liposuction360. This procedure focused on creating a more toned, balanced, and defined silhouette by removing fat around the abdominal muscles. This procedure highlights what is already there, refining areas like the abdomen, waistline, back, and flanks. By removing fat strategically, liposculpture enhances your natural contours.

Some patients struggle with stubborn areas of fat, making it harder to achieve their desired shape even with a consistent diet and exercise. This gives a nice sculpted, toned, and proportionate abdominal area.

Our team of expert plastic surgeons uses advanced techniques and high-precision to remove excess fat to accentuate the natural muscle definition. For many patients, liposculpture is the final step to achieving the physique they’ve worked hard for. This procedure not only sculpts your mid-area, but it also boosts your confidence and comfort in everything from swimwear to everyday clothes.

Your body, your goals — personalized liposculpture surgery

At the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery, we understand that every patient has a different lifestyle and aesthetic goals, which is why we’re committed to creating personalized liposculpture surgical plans tailored to you, your daily life, habits, and vision. Our team of expert surgeons will help you refine your silhouette in the areas that matter the most to you.

Liposculpture is ideal for those patients who maintain a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes they deal with extra fat that doesn’t respond to exercise or diet alone. Our expert surgeons remove this stubborn fat to deliver a more sculpted silhouette, highlighting muscle tone, smoothing out asymmetries, and delivering results that align with your aesthetic vision.

The cost of liposculpture at the South Florida Center starts at $2,499 (not including anesthesia or surgeon fees). Your coordinator will provide your final personalized quote, which will vary depending on the extent of your case and if you’re combining any other procedures with your liposculpture surgery.

We believe that your procedure should feel accessible, which is why your consultant will walk you through our flexible financing options with an easy application process. Our team is here to guide you from start to finish to ensure you make an informed decision

How liposculpture is performed & how it’s different from liposuction

Liposculpture is an advanced procedure for body contouring that focuses on removing fat with precision to create a sculpted and toned abdominal area. This procedure focuses on using refined techniques to enhance the body’s natural contours, unlike traditional liposuction, which focuses on removing fat in bulk.

Incisions are 3-5mm long and are placed strategically in areas where they will be easily hidden. A thin cannula is inserted to gently break down the fat and remove the fat pockets using suction technology. What sets liposculpture apart is the precision and the approach; this is not about taking fat away, but about enhancing muscle tone in the abdominal area.

Depending on your case and your goals, your surgeon may suggest fat grafting, where a portion of fat is removed, purified, and injected into other areas like the hips, buttocks, or breast. This approach delivers a full-body transformation.

How it differs from traditional liposuction

How it differs from Lipo 360

Lipo 360 refers to liposuction performed around the entire midsection—including the abdomen, waist, flanks, and lower back—for circumferential fat reduction. While Lipo 360 focuses on 360° fat removal, liposculpture can include these areas, but with a greater emphasis on shaping and enhancing specific zones like the waistline dip, abdominal lines, or upper glutes.

Enhance natural definition and contours

When excess fat is removed, a more defined silhouette is achieved. Liposculpture is great for enhancing the body’s natural lines, especially around the midsection. The result is a more sculpted, defined, and athletic appearance.

Reveal muscle tone

This procedure is ideal for those who live an active and healthy lifestyle. This procedure complements the underlying muscle structure. When fat is removed strategically, it highlights the abdominal “V”, oblique, and waist dips, giving the body a more toned and athletic look.

Achieve a more balanced figure

Liposculpture helps you create balance across multiple areas of the body, especially when it is paired with fat grafting. When fat is removed and used to create more volume around areas like the hips or buttocks, it delivers a more symmetrical silhouette.

Wear clothes with greater confidence

Many patients feel more confident wearing a certain type of clothing, like fitted dresses, activewear, or swimwear. Strategically removing fat pockets can create a more sculpted and toned silhouette, improving how you look and feel with your everyday style.

Address stubborn areas diet and exercise can’t fix

Many patients already have a very active lifestyle, but sometimes exercise and diet can’t get rid of stubborn fat pockets. Liposculpture surgery is a great way to highlight your hard work and reveal a more toned silhouette.

Support long-term confidence and body satisfaction

Liposculpture not only helps our patients achieve their desired silhouette, but it also helps them feel more aligned with their body image and their everyday life, enjoying an increased self-esteem and confidence.

Surgery and recovery process

30 - 1 Day Before Surgery

You’ll have your final consultation with your surgeon to finalize your surgical plan and answer any questions you may have. Our pre-operative team will also ensure you complete all of your bloodwork, obtain any necessary medical clearance if requested, and take before pictures to get you ready for surgery.

Surgery Day

Liposculpture takes around 2-4 hours; this varies depending on the treatment areas. This procedure is done under general anesthesia, and it is an outpatient procedure where you’ll return home wearing compression garments to support your new contours, help reduce swelling, and aid in overall healing.

1 Day Post Op

Your surgeon will advise you to limit movement and prioritize rest for the first 24-72 hours. Swelling, soreness, and tightness are normal. You must continue wearing your compression garments at all times to guarantee the best results.

1 Week Post Op

You’ll return to our office one week post-op, and your surgeon will monitor your incision areas and how your healing is progressing. At this stage, patients start feeling more comfortable and mobile; however, it is very important that you continue avoiding strenuous activities to avoid pressure around the area and must keep wearing your compression garments at all times.

2 - 4 Weeks Post-Op

You will begin to notice that swelling and bruising continue to subside. Many patients are now cleared to return to desk jobs and light activity. It is important to limit strenuous activities and keep wearing your compression garments. Your new shape will start becoming more visible now that the initial swelling has gone down.

2 - 12 Months Post-Op

At this stage, your final results will continue to refine, as the body keeps healing internally and residual swelling subsides. Most patients feel fully healed and are now cleared to return to all types of activities. Final results become fully visible around the 6-month mark.

Frequently asked liposculpture questions

Liposculpture is an advanced and high-precision body contouring procedure that removes excess fat strategically to highlight and enhance muscle definition in certain areas of the body. This technique uses the principles of traditional liposuction, but it focuses on creating smoother lines, improved proportions, and a more sculpted appearance. The goal of this procedure is to highlight curves, define muscle outline, and improve overall body balance rather than simply reduce volume.

Traditional liposuction is a procedure that focuses on removing larger pockets of fat from specific areas. Liposculpture is a technique that uses a more precise approach to strategically remove fat to achieve a more toned and sculpted silhouette and contour. Liposculpture is ideal to enhance muscle definition, making it the ideal procedure for those who already live a healthy and active lifestyle and are looking for the last step to reach their ideal body shape.

The ideal candidate for liposculpture is someone who is in good overall health, has a very active and healthy lifestyle, and has stubborn fat pockets that can’t be targeted with exercise and diet alone. Liposculpture is ideal for those who are close to their desired shape and weight. This is not intended for significant weight loss or massive reduction of fat, but rather to fine-tune the body shape and deliver a more sculpted, toned, and athletic look.

Liposculpture can be performed on multiple areas of the body where the patient wants to have more definition and contouring. Patients often choose the abdomen, flanks, lower back, arms, thighs, hope and under the chin. This procedure is also ideal to create more defined abdominal lines, enhance the waist curves, and refine the back line area. Your surgical plan is fully customizable, which allows you to target multiple areas at once. Your surgeon will create an optimal plan to deliver a cohesive and natural-looking contour overall.

Both procedures focus on the removal of fat cells; however, the results and approach are different. Lipo 360 focuses on circumferential fat removal around the midsection, including areas like the abdomen, waist, and back. Liposculpture focuses on smaller and strategic fat pockets around the abdominal wall to achieve a more toned and athletic look. Liposculpture focuses on shaping your body rather than simply reducing fat. During your evaluation, your surgeon will recommend the best approach that best fits your goals and anatomy.

Liposculpture is commonly done under general anesthesia, which ensures the patients’ safety and comfort. Some patients are candidates to do their liposculpture under local anesthesia with sedation for smaller areas. Your surgeon will choose the type of anesthesia depending on the extent of your case, your preference, and your health history. Our mission is to keep you safe and deliver the best results that align with your anatomy and goals.

Liposculpture recovery depends on the number of areas treated and the extent of your case. Your surgeon will clear you to return to light activities and desk jobs within 5-7 days. You’ll continue to see swelling, bruising, and soreness, especially during that first week of recovery. You will be clear to return to all types of activities after 4-6 weeks. Final results can take up to 6-8 months to become fully visible and healed. Following post-op instructions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle will ensure optimal results.

Yes, you will go home the same day, once your surgery is done, wearing compression garments to support your new shape and contour. These garments are essential during recovery because it helps to reduce swelling, support your healing tissues, and help your skin to settle into your new shape. Patients must wear the compression garments for 6-8 weeks. Using them consistently can help you obtain better results once your healing is completed.

Liposculpture removes fat cells from specific areas around the abdominal walls; these cells don’t grow back and are permanently eliminated from the body. However, remaining fat cells can still expand; this can happen during any weight fluctuation. It is important to continue and maintain a healthy lifestyle to support your results for longer. Long-term satisfaction is common in patients who commit to weight stability.

Liposculpture has small incisions, around 3-5 mm long, and they are strategically placed in areas where they can be easily hidden. Over time, the scars fade; proper aftercare and using scar creams can support the healing process. Most patients barely notice their scar and get to enjoy their new body contours.

Patients will notice some improvements during the first couple of weeks; however, it is important to know that you will be dealing with swelling and bruising. Your final shape is usually visible around the 6-month mark, where all residual swelling has finally subsided. Your skin keeps settling over time, and patience is key during the healing process.

Yes, liposculpture is a highly customizable procedure, and many patients choose to combine it with other surgeries. The most common combinations include fat transfer procedures, such as BBL, breast augmentation, and liposuction of small areas. Combining procedures allows the patient to have a complete body transformation and reduce recovery time. Your surgeon will evaluate your goals and vision to help you determine which combinations are appropriate for you.

Liposculpture is considered highly safe, especially when choosing a skilled and highly experienced surgeon. Any type of surgery includes some level of risk, including swelling, bruising, infection, or fluid buildup. It is important to complete your consultation with your surgeon to ensure your candidacy for this type of procedure, to ensure your safety, and guarantee the best and most balanced results.

At the South Florida Center, liposculpture starts at $2,499, excluding anesthesia and surgeon fees. Your coordinator will provide your final personalized quote, which will vary depending on the extent of your surgery, if you’re adding fat grafting, and if you’re combining any other procedures with your liposculpture surgery. We will also explain our flexible financing options, with a quick and easy application process to make your procedure more accessible.
