The eyes are one of the first areas to show signs of aging—and for many people, that includes puffiness, drooping eyelids, or excess skin that can make you look tired, even when you’re not. Whether your goal is to look more awake, restore symmetry, or simply feel more refreshed, blepharoplasty can help you achieve a brighter appearance that still looks like you.
Even subtle improvements to the upper or lower eyelids can have a powerful impact on your overall facial expression—bringing light back to your eyes and restoring balance to your features.
At the South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery, we believe that cosmetic surgery should reflect your individual goals and natural anatomy—not a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why every blepharoplasty procedure is thoughtfully customized to suit your unique facial structure and the refreshed appearance you’re looking to achieve.
During your consultation, you’ll work closely with your surgeon to determine the best surgical plan for your anatomy, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
Depending on your goals, upper blepharoplasty can reduce heaviness and hooding on the eyelids, while lower blepharoplasty can smooth puffiness or under-eye bags.
Together or on their own, these procedures help restore a more rested, youthful appearance—subtly enhancing their overall facial presence.
Blepharoplasty at the South Florida Center starts at $1,999 (not including anesthesia or surgeon’s fees), with final cost varying based on whether you’re addressing the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. To make your procedure more accessible, we offer flexible financing options through trusted third-party providers.
We’re here to guide you every step of the way—so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and a result that genuinely reflects your goals.
Blepharoplasty can target the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, depending on your concerns and goals. Each approach is tailored to your unique anatomy and designed to refresh your appearance with minimal, well-concealed incisions.
Upper eyelid surgery focuses on removing excess skin that causes hooding or heaviness around the eyes. The incision is placed within the natural crease of the eyelid, allowing your surgeon to remove or reposition skin and fat while keeping the scar discreet and virtually invisible when healed.
Lower eyelid surgery addresses puffiness, under-eye bags, or loose skin. Depending on your needs, there are two main techniques:
For patients seeking full eye rejuvenation, combining both upper and lower eyelid techniques offers a more comprehensive result. Your surgeon will develop a custom plan that enhances the overall balance and openness of your eyes—while keeping incisions subtle and scars well hidden.
During your consultation, we’ll walk you through which approach is best for your features and goals, and we will explain exactly how incisions are placed to ensure a smooth, natural-looking result.
Excess skin on the upper eyelids can create a heavy, tired appearance and may even interfere with vision. Upper blepharoplasty removes or repositions this skin to restore a more open, defined eyelid contour.
Fat deposits beneath the lower eyelids can create puffiness, shadows, or under-eye bags. Lower blepharoplasty addresses this by removing or repositioning fat for a smoother, more rested appearance.
Asymmetry between the eyes—whether in skin laxity, fat distribution, or eyelid position—can be corrected through targeted adjustments to create a more balanced and harmonious look.
Aging or sun exposure can cause the delicate eyelid skin to stretch or wrinkle. Blepharoplasty tightens and refines this tissue for a smoother eyelid contour that complements the rest of the face.
By reducing heaviness and softening volume irregularities, blepharoplasty helps patients appear more awake and refreshed—correcting the visual cues often associated with fatigue or aging.

In order to move forward with your surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your face and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, and both profiles) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your surgery.
